SILICONE COATED RUBBER THREAD (SCR)

Rubfila is one of the few companies in the world that offers silicon coated rubber threads. These threads use silicon emulsion, specially formulated, instead of talc powder as an anti – tack agent. Silicon coated rubber threads are considered to be eco-friendlydue to non-emission of any talc to the atmosphere and cost-friendly for the customers due to fewer needle breakages and lower machine interruptions. It is also beneficial for the employees since no dust is emitted while the machine is operated. Moreover, the yield per unit weight of thread is higher compared to that of talc coated rubber thread. Silicon coated Rubber Threads are normally available from Count 12 to Count 50 only since finer counts threads are not recommended in silicon.
